AgriLife Liberia is a registered local nonprofit organization working with rural, urban, and peri-urban communities in Liberia to find sustainable solutions to adolescent depression(mental health), youth empowerment, and food security.
We work to engage communities in sustainable activities including group therapy for adolescents, agriculture activities for youth economic development, and waste management for community development and public health safety.

We bring green and sustainable modern agricultural practices to rural, urban, and periurban farmers. We integrate biodegradable waste management with farming to help farmers create a safe environment against harmful farming practices, boost food security, and increase household income.
Health
- 37 million teenagers (aged 10-19) live with a mental disorder in Africa
- Every day, nearly 20 teenagers commit suicide on the African continent(Bluemind Foundation 2022)
- 1 in 5 Liberians suffer a mild to moderate mental disorder, according to WHO estimates

Let's feed Liberia
Current Project: AgriLife Liberia collaborates with the Koon Town Public School to construct a six-room poultry house for the production and sales of eggs and poultry for generating income for the school and providing scholarship for low income students as well as instructing agribusiness management skills to the students and the community.

Past Project: AgriLife Liberia works in partnership with the Presbyterian Todee Mission School in providing Waste Disposal Management and Sanitation education at the school.

Past Project: AgriLife Liberia works together with the Nyehn Public School to provide interpersonal group therapy and provided training Sanitary education to girls at the school. An AgriLife team member teaches girls how to make reusable menstrual pads.

Environmental Protection
Let's save our environment
Past Project: AgriLife Liberia collaborates with the Christ City of Light Mission School in rural Montserrado County, Liberia to provide waste disposal management education to the students. Waste disposal materials were given to the school for the management of biodegradable waste for organic agricultural practice at the school.

Where We Work
Agrilife Liberia has identified that rural and remote communities in Liberia are perpetually marginalized because of the lack of access to good roads, contemporary development, and basic social amenities. Therefore, our work focuses mainly on these communities to actively respond to the current and emerging needs for their subsistence and growth.

Romeo T. Kollie
Executive Director
Romeo T. Kollie earned a BSc. degree in General Agriculture from the University of Liberia. He obtained a Certificate in Business Plan Development through the Student Training Entrepreneurial Promotion at the University of Liberia.
Mr. Kollie's commitment and passion about community development and growth drove him to co-found AgriLife Liberia. He brings his experience as Cluster Head of Morris Farm Agriculture Association. There he worked and helped farmers improve on their methods of crops production and the marketing of their products for generating income. He also brings his time and community connections as a high school educator in Todee District. He has now transferred his skills to the role as the Executive Director/Co-founder of AgriLife Liberia.
Stanley L. Boie
Financial Officer
Stanley Boie has a BBA in Management and Economics at the University of Liberia. Stanley is an entrepreneur that has run a community-based savings group, the Resurrection Saving Club since 2014 and he owns a local pharmacy. As Financial Officer, he is charged with the duty of assisting in budget preparation, managing records, and receipts, reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions, preparing balance sheets, processing invoices and resolving financial discrepancies.
Raphina L. Felee
Chief Program Coordinator
Raphina Feele earned an Associate Degree at the Cuttington University, Liberia. She is a graduate of the United States exchange program at the Meridian International Center and holds several certificates from different organizations including the Peace Crops Liberia. Ralphina has volunteered at several organizations for the welfare and empowerment of girls. Miss Felee is an advocate, speaking against gender-based violence and sexual harassment at her local community base organization called Her Voice Counts. She serves as Chief Program Coordinator at AgriLife Liberia where she is responsible to plan and coordinate programs and their activities; ensuring implementation of policies and practices.
Elsie T. Jensen
Assistant Program Coordinator for youth Developement
Elsie T. Jensen has a diploma in general agriculture at Booker T. Washington Institute in Kakata, Margibi County, Liberia. Elsie has volunteered in the health and education sector of Liberia and with Days for Girls International where she gained skills in leadership. As Assistant Program Coordination she is charged with the duty of assisting in planning and coordinating programs activities, and maintaining the budget and tracking expenditures in line with program.
